Matthew brings more than 20 years of experience as an Executive Director to his position overseeing the operations of Touchmark communities in Portland, Oregon; Meridian, Idaho; Bismarck and Fargo, North Dakota; and Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Prior to his current position, he served as Executive Director of Touchmark at Meadow Lake Village in Idaho, overseeing all aspects of the retirement community, including homes and lifestyle options, which include independent and assisted living, memory care, home health, home care, and a health and fitness club open to the public. Before that, he was the community’s Director of Health Services.
His previous extensive experience includes work with Sunrise Senior Living/Marriott International communities in Dallas, Texas; Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Fort Wayne, Indiana as well as Era Living Care Incorporated in Seattle, Washington.
Matthew holds a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in Business Management-Health. While attending college, he worked as a caregiver for several years.
A native Idahoan, Matthew grew up near Blackfoot, Idaho. He and his wife have been married more than 30 years and have four children and seven grandchildren. Away from work, he enjoys spending time with his family as well as playing and watching sports.
